Shiv Kumar Baloon Decorator is based at 90/6 in Mehrauli. We do decorations for birthdays, weddings, and small parties around this area. It’s not really a big company with a fleet of vans. It’s just me and a couple of boys who help with the blowing up and tying of balloons. We keep our supplies at our place in Mehrauli. Most of our work happens at the customer's house or at a local community hall. We have different colors and types of balloons, but we don't do those very complicated robotic displays you see in big malls. We keep it simple and colorful. We’ve been doing this for several years, so we know which halls allow what kind of decorations. Sometimes we get calls at the last minute, and if we are free, we just pack our pumps and go. It’s a bit of a messy job with balloons popping and ribbons everywhere, but it’s what we do. We don't have a shop where you can come and sit. Usually, people just call us or come to our address to talk about what they need. We write everything down in a small diary. It’s a local business and we mostly work through word of mouth. Mehrauli is a crowded place, but we manage to get around. We just want to finish the job and see the kids happy.
