M K Watch & Mobile Shoppe

Our little shop is over in Subhash Market, right at number 742 in Kotla Mubarakpur. M K Watch & Mobile Shoppe has been a part of this street for quite some time. It's a crowded market, so you have to watch where you're walking. We have watches on one side and phone stuff on the other. Sometimes the lights flicker when it rains. We spend our days fixing small things, mostly. A lot of people come in just to ask for the time or to see if we can fix a cracked screen. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us behind the counter. It gets loud outside with all the rickshaws and people shouting. We keep the glass cases clean, or we try to anyway. Fingerprints get everywhere. It’s a simple living. We know most of the people who walk past every day. Sometimes we sit outside on a plastic stool when business is slow. You get used to the pace of the market. It’s not like those big malls. Here, you talk to people. We sell batteries, straps, and chargers. If we don't have it, we might know who does. That’s just how things work in Kotla. We open up early and stay until the market starts to quiet down. It’s a good spot. We just like being here where the action is. It feels like home. Nothing more to it.
