M D A Floors

Our spot is over in Pulpehladpur, right at E 169. If you know the Pul Pehlad Pur area, you know it can get pretty crowded with traffic and people moving around. We spend most of our time dealing with different types of flooring materials. There is always a lot of dust involved when you're cutting stones or tiles, so our clothes usually end up white by the end of the shift. It’s not a clean job, but seeing a floor go from bare concrete to something finished is alright. We carry a lot of heavy samples and slabs, so you definitely get a workout doing this. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting into the narrow spots near the shop, but we manage. We’ve seen all sorts of houses and small offices around here that need new surfaces. Some days we are just sitting and talking to people about what might look good in their living room, and other days we are out on a site making sure the leveling is right. It’s a lot of measuring and double-checking so things don't look crooked later on. We aren't a big corporation, just a few of us working out of this space in E block. It’s mostly about getting the hands dirty and making sure the stone or wood sits where it’s supposed to. The neighborhood knows us, and we know the neighborhood. It’s been this way for years and we just keep at it.
