We are over at Dallupura 11. If you know the area, it’s not hard to spot us. The shop has been here for a few years now. It started as a small desk and now we have a bit more space for stock. We handle a lot of mobile-related things, mostly recharges and small repairs. The counter is usually covered in papers and old components. I try to keep it tidy, but by midday, it usually gets messy again. My nephew helps me out in the evenings when the crowd from the offices starts coming back home. He’s faster with the computer than I am. We don’t have air conditioning, just a big ceiling fan that keeps the air moving. In the summer, it gets quite hot, so we keep cold water for anyone who stops in. The floor is just plain cement, easy to sweep out every morning. We don’t spend money on fancy lights or decorations because that’s not what people come here for. They just want their phones working. Sometimes the internet goes down and we can’t process recharges for a while. We just sit out front on the bench and wait for it to come back. It’s a quiet life most of the time. We know almost everyone who walks through the door by name. It’s just how things are in Dallupura. We don't really do much marketing, just word of mouth keeps us going day to day.
