Lucky Corner

Lucky Corner is a small retail spot located at 6/175 in Geeta Colony. It sits right on the edge of the street, which is why everyone started calling it the corner shop years ago. I open up early in the morning, usually before the sun gets too high, to catch the people heading out for work. The shelves are packed with a bit of everything, from snacks and drinks to small household items that people might need in a hurry. It’s a very local atmosphere where I know the parents, the kids, and even the street dogs that hang around the entrance. The building itself at 6/175 is an older structure, and the shop has that lived-in feel with its slightly creaky floorboards and wooden counters that have been worn smooth. I don't use any fancy computer systems for the sales; I just keep a small cash box and a notepad for the daily totals. Sometimes the afternoon gets very quiet, and I just sit on a stool by the door and watch the neighborhood go by. It’s not a place that aims to be a big supermarket; we just provide the basic things that the colony needs. Finding the address can be a bit tricky for outsiders because the numbering in Geeta Colony is a bit chaotic, but the locals know exactly where to find me. It’s a humble business, and I’m quite content with how things are run here day to day.
