You can find us in Ganesh Nagar, specifically at A-14 in Mayur Vihar. Laxmi Telecom has been our home for a good number of years. This part of Delhi is mostly residential, so we see the same faces every week. It’s a quiet spot compared to the big markets, which we actually prefer. We have a small glass counter where we keep the latest handsets and some second-hand ones too. People around here trust us with their old phones when they want to upgrade. The shop is a bit small, and if three customers come in at once, it feels full. We don't mind though. We keep the fans running high in the summer because it gets quite hot in this corner of the building. Most of our day is spent fixing minor software issues or helping people understand their new gadgets. We aren't experts at everything, but we try what we can with what we know. The local kids often pop in to ask about gaming phones. We just tell them what we’ve heard. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere here. We don't wear uniforms or follow strict rules. If the weather is nice, we might stand outside for a bit and talk to the person in the shop next door. It’s just a simple life running a telecom shop in Mayur Vihar. We are just glad to have a steady rhythm to our days and a place to call our own.
