Lalit Communication Centre

Lalit Communication Centre is right by Jagram Chowk at Sarup Nagar 27. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of honking and dust outside our door. Inside, we have a couple of glass counters where we display some basic mobile phones and accessories. We spend a lot of time doing recharges and helping people with their SIM card problems. Sometimes the older folks from the neighborhood come in because they can't figure out how to send a photo on their phone, and we show them how it’s done. We also have a small corner for computer work like printing out forms or scanning documents. The printer is a bit slow and makes a loud grinding noise, but it gets the job done eventually. There’s a ceiling fan that wobbles a bit when it’s on high speed, but it helps with the summer heat. We keep a stack of newspapers on the side for people to read while they wait for their work to finish. Jagram Chowk is a landmark around here, so we get a lot of random people stopping by to ask for directions or the time. We’ve got a small fridge for cold drinks, which is popular when it gets really hot. It’s a basic shop where we just handle the daily communication needs of the people living around Sarup Nagar. Nothing fancy, just the usual routine every day.
