L G Direct Service Centre

Our place is situated on Mathura Road inside the Mohan Cooperative Industrial Estate at B-1/E9. Being in an industrial area means there is always a lot of heavy trucks and noise around us. This is the L G Direct Service Centre. It is basically a big workshop where we handle all sorts of repairs for appliances. We have a few guys who know their way around a circuit board and they are usually busy with tools in their hands. The building itself is quite plain, just a standard industrial unit that gets the job done. We spend a lot of time looking at broken machines and trying to find the right parts to fix them. It can get pretty dusty because of the location, but we try to keep the work area organized enough to find what we need. People bring in their stuff or sometimes we get items sent over from other parts of the city. There is no showroom here, just a front desk and then the back where all the actual work happens. Sometimes parts take a while to arrive which can be annoying for everyone. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused during the long shifts. It is not the most glamorous job sitting among stacks of spare parts and half-finished repairs, but it is what we do. The traffic on Mathura Road is usually a nightmare during peak hours so we mostly just stay put and work through the pile.
