Krishna Tent & Electric House

You can find us over at Pandara Market, shop number 10. This part of Delhi is usually famous for the food but we have been doing the tent and electric work here for a good while. Most of the work involves setting up for small gatherings or fixing some wiring issues in the neighborhood. We have got stacks of chairs, different colored cloths for tents, and all the light bulbs you might need for a function. It is a busy life, especially during the wedding season when everyone wants things done at the exact same time. We try to keep up with the demand. The shop is filled with rolls of wire and switchboards. Sometimes it looks a bit messy because there is always something being loaded or unloaded from the rickshaws outside. We don't really do big advertising or anything like that. People mostly know us because they live around Pandara Road or they have seen our trucks moving around. My uncle started this and now we just keep it going. It is hard work, lifting heavy poles and climbing ladders to fix the decorative lights, but it pays the bills. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, especially when it rains and we have to rush to cover the equipment. If you are passing through the market, you will probably see us sitting outside talking to the neighbors. We stay busy with the local events and keep things moving as best as we can every day.
