Kat Katha is based at number 108 in Siddhartha Enclave. It’s a place where we spend most of our time working on our projects. The building is a bit older, and we’ve filled it with all sorts of materials and things we’ve collected over time. It’s not the most organized space, but we know where everything is. We have a few people who come in and out during the day to help with the work. Most of us have been around for a while, so we’re like a small family here. We don't have fancy furniture or a big sign outside. It’s just a house in the enclave where we get together to make things happen. Sometimes we sit on the floor to work when the tables are too full. The neighbors know us as the people who are always busy with something or other. We try to keep things simple and focus on the tasks at hand. It gets a bit noisy sometimes when everyone is talking at once. We don't have a lot of money to throw around, so we make do with what we have. It’s a practical way of living and working. If you come by, you'll see we're just regular people trying to do something meaningful in our own small way. It’s honest work and we like it that way even when it's exhausting. We usually have a big pot of tea going by the afternoon to keep everyone's energy up while we finish what we started.
