You’ll find Kashyap Telecom Centre & Mobile Point at Shanti Vihar Shanti Marg E-588. It’s a corner spot, which is nice because we get a bit more light through the side window. We handle all sorts of mobile work, from selling SIM cards to fixing broken buttons and screens. The shop is pretty packed with glass cases. I’ve been working here since I was a teenager, helping my uncle. Now I run it mostly by myself. The hours are long, usually from nine in the morning until nine at night. My wife brings me tiffin around one o'clock, and I eat it while sitting on a small stool behind the glass. The Shanti Marg area is mostly quiet residential streets, so we know the local kids and the elders who go for walks. Sometimes they just stop by to ask how to use an app or why their screen is dim. We don’t charge for that kind of stuff. It’s just being a good neighbor. The floor tile is cracked near the entrance where someone dropped a heavy crate once. We put a mat over it so nobody trips. It’s not a perfect-looking place, but it works for us. We have a lot of chargers and earphones hanging on hooks. People always seem to lose those. We just try to keep enough in stock so nobody leaves disappointed.
