Kapoor Tent & Light House

We started this place, Kapoor Tent & Light House, in Srinagar Colony because there was a need for someone to handle the basic stuff for local gatherings. If you look at our location on the map, it shows up as Srinagar Colony 0.333333333333333, which is a bit strange, but we are easy enough to find. We have a warehouse space where we keep all the poles, fabric, and those strings of lights that everyone uses for weddings or small prayer meetings at home. It’s not a fancy office at all. Most days, we are just busy loading the truck or checking if the bulbs still work after the last rainy season. Srinagar Colony is a nice enough area, though parking can be a real pain when the big trucks are trying to pull out with the heavy tent frames. We don't have a big team, just a few guys who know how to climb ladders and tie knots properly so nothing falls down when the wind picks up. Sometimes things get hectic during the main wedding months, and the phone doesn't stop ringing. We try to keep track of everything in a big notebook. It gets dusty in the shop because of the construction nearby, but that’s just how it is here. We focus on getting the lights up and making sure the generator has enough diesel. People know where to find us if they need a few extra chairs or a waterproof canopy. We’ve been around here for quite some time now, just doing the work day by day.
