Kapoor Agencis is located at 2241/3 on Saini Marg, right in the heart of Chandni Chowk. Operating a business in this part of Delhi means you have to get used to the narrow lanes and the constant flow of people. We mainly act as a distribution point or an agency for various goods. Our space is more of a warehouse and a small office combined into one. There are always boxes stacked up, waiting to be sent out or just arriving from the suppliers. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking invoices to make sure everything is where it should be. It is not a place for window shopping; it is a place where actual trade happens every single day. The building is old, like most things in Chandni Chowk, and the stairs are a bit steep. We’ve been at this address for a long time and have seen the market change quite a bit over the decades. It’s a busy life, and sometimes it feels like there aren't enough hours in the day to get all the shipping done. We just keep at it, dealing with the transporters and the local shops that buy from us. It is practical, everyday commerce without any of the fluff you see in big corporate offices.
