We've been here in Pitampura for quite a while now, right near Gopal Mandir at Np-98. It’s a small place, honestly. Mostly, people from the neighborhood drop by when something stops working or they need a bit of help with their machines. We just open up in the morning and see who comes through the door. It gets busy sometimes, especially on weekends when everyone is home and realizes they have chores to finish. My desk is usually covered in tools and small parts that I’m trying to keep track of. It isn't anything fancy, just a room with shelves and some chairs for people to wait. Sometimes we have tea while talking about what needs fixing. It’s nice being near the temple because people use it as a landmark to find us. We try to get things done as they come in. Some days are slower than others, but that’s just how it goes with a small service shop. We’ve known some of the families around here for years. They know where to find us if a switch breaks or a motor makes a weird noise. It’s just us working here, trying to stay organized in this small space. There’s always something to do, whether it’s cleaning up or looking for a specific spare part that rolled under a table. We just keep at it day by day. It's a living.
