You can find us over at CB-170/1-2 on the Naraina Ring Road. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always noise and people moving about. We’ve been here for a good while, handling both the tent setups and the food side of things. It’s a lot to manage, but we’ve got a system that works for us. Usually, I’m in the back checking on the supplies while the guys are out loading the vans. We do a lot of the cooking right here or at the venue, depending on what the customer wants. It’s mostly local stuff, nothing too flashy or complicated. We have a lot of regular clients who just call us up whenever they have a small gathering at home. Being on the Ring Road makes it easy to get to different parts of the city quickly, which helps when we have several jobs on the same day. The shop itself is pretty packed with stuff—large pots, stacks of chairs, and bundles of cloth. It can look a bit messy, but we know exactly where everything is. We don’t really spend money on big signs or anything. People just know where Kamal’s place is. It’s a family effort, and we all pitch in when things get busy. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing to get the job finished properly and on time for the party.
