Kamal Banquet

This place is called Kamal Banquet and we are over in Lajpat Nagar II, specifically at C-18. It is a space for weddings, birthdays, and small parties. We’ve been here for a good number of years. It’s not a massive five-star hotel, but it works for local families who want a place to celebrate. We have the main hall and some space for catering. Usually, people come in to book for engagement ceremonies or retirement parties. The parking can be a bit of a headache around Lajpat Nagar, as anyone who lives here knows, but we manage. My staff and I handle the cleaning and setting up the chairs. We have some standard decorations we use, nothing too over the top. Sometimes we have two events in one day, which makes things very busy and a bit chaotic, but we get through it. I spend a lot of time on the phone talking to decorators or checking if the food is ready. It’s a family-run sort of thing. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. Just this building and a lot of work to keep it running. Most of our bookings come from people living nearby who don't want to travel too far for a function. It gets loud with the music sometimes, but the neighbors are mostly okay with it. We just try to provide a decent space for people to have their functions without too much fuss.
