Kalra Caterers & Tent House

We have been over here at Vashist Park for quite a while now. Most people know us because of the big tents and all the cooking gear we keep at RZ-31-32 on Phankha Road. It gets pretty loud and busy when we are loading up the trucks for a function. My brother and I usually handle the bookings while the boys get the bamboo poles and fabrics ready. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, but that is just how it goes with tent work. We started out small, just helping neighbors with small gatherings, and then it grew into Kalra Caterers & Tent House. You can find us right there near the main road. The kitchen side of things is always a rush, especially during the wedding season when everyone wants their food at the same time. We don't really have a fancy office or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done. People stop by to talk about their plans, and we sit down with some tea and figure out the seating. It isn't always perfect, sometimes a pipe leaks or a cloth gets stained, but we fix it. We just stay focused on the work right here in Vashist Park. It is a lot of heavy lifting and late nights, especially when we have to tear down a setup at 3 AM. We keep the trucks parked nearby, and there is usually someone around even on weekends. Dealing with the Phankha Road traffic is a daily struggle when we are trying to move the big metal frames, but we are used to it.
