Jyoti Tent & Light House

Our business, Jyoti Tent & Light House, is situated at 2500/193 in Tri Nagar. To be honest, it is more like a big storage shed than a regular shop. We keep all the equipment for local events here, like the metal poles for tents, huge rolls of colored cloth, and plastic crates filled with light bulbs and miles of wire. Tri Nagar is always a busy area, and we stay pretty busy too, especially during the months when there are a lot of weddings happening. My daily work involves a lot of heavy lifting and climbing up on ladders. We go out to different parks or community halls to set up the stages and all the decorative lighting. Sometimes bulbs get smashed while we are moving the crates, so we always have to bring extra. The wires can get into a real tangle, but we have a way of sorting them out so the lights actually work when the party starts. I have a small crew of guys who handle the heavy tent parts while I look after the electrical side. It is definitely not a fancy job. We are often out working late at night or very early in the morning to make sure everything is ready. Our office is just a small desk tucked into a corner of the warehouse. We don't have brochures or anything like that. People just see our work at a local function and ask for our number.
