Joshi Tent & Caterers

Joshi Tent & Caterers operates out of Dwarka Sector 3 at F-21. This isn't really a shop where people come to browse, it’s more of a base where we store all our equipment. We have piles of folded tents, stacks of metal poles, and big cooking utensils kept in the back. Our work is mostly done on-site at different venues, but this is where the planning and the loading happen. During the wedding months, this place is a mess of activity. We are constantly counting chairs and checking the fabrics for stains or tears. It is a lot of physical labor, moving heavy stuff back and forth from the trucks. We have a team of guys who handle the heavy lifting, and they’ve been doing it for years. Sector 3 is a decent place to be based because it’s easy to get to other parts of Dwarka. We don't do much advertising; usually, people just see our name on the side of a truck or someone tells their cousin about us. We’ve had some long nights where we are still loading up at two in the morning. It’s tiring work, but it’s what we know. We aren't event planners with fancy laptops; we are the people who actually put the tents up and make sure the food is hot. It’s a straightforward business built on just doing the work every day.
