Jitendra Telecom

Our shop, Jitendra Telecom, is tucked away in Sector 10 of Dwarka at G-4. It’s a modest place where we spend our days dealing with phones and SIM cards. I started this because I liked messing around with technology. We have a lot of posters for different mobile plans stuck on the windows. The desk is usually covered in papers and a few phones that are being charged. It’s not the biggest shop in the sector, but we make it work. My nephew comes in to help when there's a rush of people needing their data plans updated. We have a small fridge in the corner for cold water because it gets hot in here during the summer. The stools are a bit worn out but they’re comfortable enough. We talk to a lot of people every day, mostly about their phone bills or why their signal is weak. Sometimes we have to call the main office to fix a problem for a customer, which can take some time. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a place to get your mobile needs handled. The street outside is usually quiet in the mornings and picks up in the afternoon. We like being part of the community here and seeing the same faces every week. It’s a straightforward life and we just keep the shop running as best as we can. Usually, we close up around eight and head home to get some rest for the next day.
