Jayanti Telecom

Jayanti Telecom is over in Nangloi, right at Laxmi Park A-1. If you know the area, you know it is a busy part of town with a lot going on every single day. Our shop is easy enough to find if you are looking for A-1, but we do not have any massive neon signs or anything like that. It is a regular shop with a glass counter and shelves full of mobile accessories and some older phones we keep for parts. I spend most of my day sitting on a wooden stool behind the counter, waiting for people to stop by. Sometimes it is for a new SIM card, and other times it is someone who dropped their phone in water and is hoping I can save it. We do not promise miracles here, but we do what we can with the tools we have. The shop gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, so I am always wiping down the glass to keep it clear. It is not a corporate office; it is just a local business run by people who live nearby. We know a lot of the folks in Laxmi Park by their first names. Sometimes we close a little early if the weather is bad or if there is a family thing going on. We do not have a website or a fancy way of doing things. We just write everything down in a notebook and try to help our customers.
