Jap Ji Telecom

Jap Ji Telecom is found at 155 Bhagwan Nagar. It’s a local spot that most people in this neighborhood have walked past a hundred times. We aren't a big showroom, just a small place where we deal with mobile phones and everything that goes with them. The morning starts with opening the shutters and sweeping the front area before the first customers arrive. Usually, someone is already waiting with a phone that stopped working overnight. We do our best to look at the wiring or the battery to see what is wrong. Bhagwan Nagar is a nice enough place to work, though the parking can be a real headache for anyone trying to stop by. We see the same faces every week, mostly people coming in to pay their bills or to get a new screen guard because they dropped their phone on the pavement. It’s funny how much people rely on these little plastic and glass boxes these days. We spend a lot of time hunched over a workbench with small screwdrivers and magnifying glasses. It can be hard on the eyes after a few hours of work. When the sun goes down, the street gets a bit quieter and we start packing up for the day to head home. It is a simple life and we are happy to be a part of the local community here at number 155 for a long time now.
