Jagdamba Tent & Decorators

If you live around North Ghonda or travel the Yamuna Vihar Road, you’ve probably seen our trucks or our stuff being moved around. Jagdamba Tent & Decorators is based at C-9, and we’ve been doing this for a long time. Our yard is usually full of folded tents, stacked chairs, and rolls of carpeting. It’s a lot of physical labor, dragging poles and heavy fabric in the sun. We do weddings, local festivals, and even small prayer meetings in the neighborhood. It’s messy work sometimes, especially when the weather turns and we have to dry everything out. We have a crew that’s been with us for years. They know how to set up a stage fast. We don’t have a fancy office; it’s mostly just a desk where we write down bookings in a big ledger. The walls have pictures of some of the bigger setups we’ve done over the years, though they are a bit faded now. People stop by to pick out colors for the drapes or to see how many chairs we can fit in a small space. It’s about making things look decent for a party without charging a fortune. We work early mornings and very late nights, especially during the wedding season. It is just the way the tent business is. You can find us right there on the main road, usually loading up a truck or untangling some decorative lights before the next event.
