If you head over to Safdarjung Enclave and find AR Nagar, you’ll see our office up on the third floor. It’s the right wing of the building at 23/1. We spend our time dealing with exhibitions, which means there are always samples of materials and sketches of booths lying around. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is being temperamental, but the space up here is decent. Safdarjung is a nice part of New Delhi, but it can be a nightmare to find a parking spot on a busy Tuesday. We’ve got a team that handles the logistics and the design, though it often feels like we are just solving one puzzle after another. The office isn't particularly fancy; it’s more about being functional. We have a lot of cupboards filled with old project files and some half-finished models on the desks. It gets pretty loud when everyone is on the phone at once trying to coordinate a build in another city. Sometimes we stay late when a big show is coming up, eating takeout and trying to make sure everything fits together. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the guys on the floor have what they need. We just go about our business and try to keep things moving along without too much drama.
