Our office is tucked away in Flat-17 of the Parul Apartment building on Dr. M.N. Saha Road. If you are coming through Dumdum in Kolkata, you might have passed by the building without thinking much of it. It is a residential-style setup which makes the workspace feel a bit more like home than a cold office building. We have been here at Infomedia India Limited for some time now. Most of our day is spent at our desks, working through files and keeping things organized. It is not a massive operation with hundreds of people running around, but we manage to stay busy. Sometimes the hallway gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stuff coming in, but we make it work. Living and working in Kolkata has its own vibe, and being in Dumdum means we are right in the thick of things. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you will just find one of us sorting through papers or talking on the phone. It is practical and straightforward. We try to keep things moving along without making too much of a fuss. The apartment gets decent light in the afternoons, which is nice when you are stuck inside all day. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to get through the pile on our desks before it is time to head home for the evening. It is just a normal office life.
