India Today Group

Our office is located at 29 C, in the CB Block of Shalimar Bagh. It’s a decent spot in North Delhi, though the summer heat really hits this part of town hard. India Today Group has been operating out of this space, and it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a working office in a residential-commercial mix. We’ve got stacks of papers and old folders everywhere. The walk up to the office is pretty standard. We’ve grown accustomed to the sounds of the neighborhood, like the vegetable sellers shouting in the mornings. It’s not exactly a corporate headquarters with a dozen elevators; it’s more grounded than that. We spend our days mostly answering emails and coordinating things. The lighting in the back room is a little dim, but we mostly work near the windows where there is some natural light. Finding 29 C isn’t too hard once you get into the CB Block, but sometimes the street signs are covered by branches. We’ve lived through plenty of power cuts and internet hiccups here, just like everyone else in Shalimar Bagh. It’s a real place with real people working inside. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. We just focus on getting through the tasks we have for the day and making sure everything is in order before we head home in the evening.
