We’re over in Sector 3 of RK Puram in New Delhi. The address is 557 A, and it’s a pretty busy spot. Being in the capital, there’s always something going on outside our doors. We’ve been part of the media scene for a long time, but here in this office, it feels like any other local workplace. We have a lot of desks pushed together and papers stacked up everywhere. People are constantly coming and going, talking on their phones, or typing away. It’s a noisy environment, but that’s just how news and media work goes. We don’t have a lot of time for formalities. If something needs to be done, someone just grabs it and starts. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the industry over the years, but the daily grind remains the same. You come in, you find out what’s happening, and you try to get the word out. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and it gets the job done. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the long shifts. It’s not always easy, and sometimes the stress gets to everyone, but we’re a tight-knit group. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and try to keep everything running smoothly in this busy part of Delhi. Sometimes the air conditioning hums too loud, but we've gotten used to that sound. There's always a stack of old magazines in the corner.
