Our office is down in Shakarpur, on the ground floor of building D-122. If you know the New Delhi 110092 area, you know it can get pretty packed with people and shops. We’ve got a phone line, +91-9971778577, that rings quite a bit throughout the day. Working here means dealing with a lot of papers and computers all the time. It’s the India Today Group, so there is always something happening that keeps us on our toes. The ground floor location is handy because we don’t have to climb any stairs, but it also means we hear everything happening on the street. It’s a practical setup. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with expensive furniture or anything like that. We just need desks that hold up and chairs that are okay for sitting in. The staff here is a mix of people who have been around since the start and some newer faces too. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the long afternoons. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles when it gets really hot in Delhi, but we make do. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to keep things moving. We handle a lot of information and it gets messy sometimes, but we sort it out eventually. That’s just life in a busy office in Shakarpur. We don't need any more than that to get through the day.
