Our shop is tucked away in Old Lajpat Rai Market, number 881. If you know the market, you know it's always packed with people and electronics. It can be quite a maze for someone new. We spend our days under bright lamps looking at circuit boards. Most of what we do is fixing screens and charging ports. People drop their phones and bring the pieces to us. It’s a noisy place with all the other shops nearby playing music or testing speakers. We’ve got tools scattered across the workbench. Sometimes a repair takes an hour, sometimes it takes all day if the parts are hard to find. We don't use fancy machines, just our hands and some basic gear. There’s always a pile of old phones in the corner for spare parts. We don't have a waiting room or anything. Customers usually just walk around the market and come back later. It’s a busy life. We drink a lot of chai to keep going through the afternoon. The market has its own rhythm and we are part of it. We’ve been in this spot for years. The rent goes up but we stay put because it's home. It’s a good location if you can handle the crowds. We don't do any advertising at all. People find us by word of mouth or they just stumble upon us while looking for something else. It works fine for us.
