Hundred Percent Rock

Hundred Percent Rock is over in Vasant Kunj, and we’ve been here for a while now. It’s a place that gets pretty loud, especially on Friday nights when everyone is looking to forget about their work week. The name makes it sound like we only play one kind of music, but we actually just play whatever keeps the mood going. The lights are low, and the walls are covered in all sorts of stuff we've collected over the years. It’s not one of those polished, modern bars where everything is glass and chrome. We have heavy wooden tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use. People come here because it’s a bit rough around the edges, which makes it feel more comfortable, I think. Vasant Kunj is a big area, but people seem to find their way to us easily enough. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the crowds and making sure the fridge is full of bottles. It’s a lot of late nights and sleeping in late the next morning. Sometimes the sound system acts up, or a light bulb goes out and we can’t find the ladder, but we manage. It’s just a spot to have a drink and talk over the music. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just open the doors, turn on the amps, and let the night happen. It's a simple way to run a business and we've gotten used to the noise.
