Being based in Sangam Vihar means we are right in the middle of everything in New Delhi. Ht Media Ltd. has its spot here, and if you know this area, you know it’s always moving and can be pretty chaotic. It can be a bit loud and crowded right outside our doors with all the shops and people, but that’s just the city for you. Inside, we’re just a bunch of regular people trying to keep things organized and get through the pile of work we have. We don’t have those massive glass towers with security guards you see on TV; it’s more grounded and a bit rough around the edges. We spend a lot of time just working through whatever is on the schedule for that particular day. Some days are more stressful than others, especially when the traffic outside makes everyone late or the weather is just too hot. We don't worry too much about having the perfect office layout or the newest furniture that costs too much. As long as the lights stay on and we have what we need to do the work, we're doing fine. It's a local operation at heart, even if the name sounds a bit bigger to some people who don't know us. We just focus on the stuff that needs doing today and worry about tomorrow when it actually gets here. There’s a lot of tea and coffee involved and probably too many conversations happening.
