You can find us at Flat 210 in Nirman Apartments. It is right in Mayur Vihar Phase 1, which is a pretty well-known part of Delhi. Working out of an apartment building gives the office a different feel than a big glass tower. Ht Media Ltd has this space set up for our local operations. There are desks squeezed into the rooms and wires running along the baseboards. It feels like a real workplace where people actually spend their whole day. Since we are in a residential complex, we have to keep the noise down a bit. The lift in the building is sometimes slow, so we end up taking the stairs. We deal with media and news-related tasks here. It is a lot of typing and checking facts on the computer. Sometimes the air conditioner struggles when it gets really hot in Delhi, but we make do. There is a small balcony where people go to take a quick breather. We do not have a big sign outside, just the number on the door. It is a convenient spot because the metro is close by. We have been here for a good amount of time now. The routine is pretty much the same every day—get in, check the emails, and start on the day's stories or reports. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we do. The neighborhood has everything we need, like little shops for stationery or snacks. We are just a local team doing our daily work.
