You’ll find Harshit Telecom and Time Center at I/2A on the Badarpur Main Road. It’s a dual kind of shop. We’ve been handling phones and watches for a long time. It’s an interesting mix of work. One minute we’re looking at a phone screen and the next we’re dealing with a tiny watch battery or a broken strap. Badarpur is a hectic area, especially being right on the main road. There’s always dust and noise from the trucks, but you get used to it after a few years. Our shop is a bit older, with wooden counters and glass displays that have seen better days. We don’t mind the wear and tear. It shows we’ve been working hard. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a social media manager. We just rely on the people walking by and the locals. If someone’s watch stops or their phone acts up, they know we’re here to take a look. We try to be quick with the small jobs. Most of our day is spent hunched over the workbench with a magnifying glass or a screwdriver. It’s quiet work in a loud neighborhood. We’ve seen the kids in the area grow up and start bringing their own devices in for repair. That’s the best part of being a local business on the main road. We’re just part of the furniture now, helping out however we can.
