Harjas Telecom Centre

We are located at A 145 in New Moti Nagar. It’s a small spot where we handle all sorts of phone-related stuff. Most of our day is spent dealing with recharges or helping someone figure out why their SIM card isn't working right. The shop has been here for a bit and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We have a small display case with some basic accessories and some old posters on the wall. It’s usually just one or two of us behind the counter. When the school nearby lets out, the street gets really crowded and noisy. We don’t have a corporate office or anyone telling us what to say to customers. We just talk to them like neighbors because that’s mostly who they are. Sometimes the computer we use for the accounts gets a bit slow, especially when it’s raining outside for some reason. We keep a stack of notebooks for the things we need to remember. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a big mall, but it works for us and the people who live around here. We stay open pretty late to catch the people coming home from work. It’s a lot of sitting and waiting followed by bursts of being really busy. We just take it as it comes. Often we have to share the single desk we have, which leads to some clutter.
