Harinder Tent House

Harinder Tent House is based at Moti Bagh South Market, shop 170. We have been doing this for a long time, providing the basics for local events and gatherings. It is a lot of hard physical work, to be honest. We have big stacks of chairs, heavy iron poles, and all kinds of colorful cloth for the tents. Most of our time isn't actually spent in the shop; we are out on the road with our truck, moving equipment from one place to another. During the wedding season, we are busy from early morning until very late at night. We have to make sure the tents are set up properly so they don't blow over if the wind picks up. Sometimes the fabrics get a bit dusty or stained, so we have to spend time cleaning them before the next job. It is a family business and we all pitch in when there is a big order. The market is a noisy place and our shop is often cluttered with ropes and tools. We don't do any fancy advertising. People just see our name on the side of the truck or they hear about us from their neighbors. It’s a practical business and we just focus on getting the job done so the party can happen. Sometimes things get delayed in traffic, which is a big problem in this city, but we try our best to get there on time.
