Hari Tent House

We run Hari Tent House from our office at C-27 in Acharya Niketan, which is over in Mayur Vihar Phase I. This business is mostly about being on the move. We have piles of folded tents, stacks of metal poles, and hundreds of chairs stored away. When someone has a wedding or a small function in the neighborhood, they come to us. It’s not a glamorous job. Most of the work happens late at night or very early in the morning when we are loading up the trucks or setting up the fabric structures in a local park or community center. We’ve been doing this in Mayur Vihar for quite a long time now. The office is just a place where we take bookings and show people the different colors of cloth we have available. It’s often a bit dusty because of all the fabric, but we try to keep things organized. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains and we have to dry everything out before it can be packed away again. We are just a local team of workers who know how to tie knots and set up stages quickly. People around Acharya Niketan know our faces because we are always out and about with our carts and equipment. It's just a regular local business.
