If you live around Rohini Sector 16, you probably know where F-3/38 is. That’s where Guru Kripa Communication is tucked away. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with phone cases, recharge vouchers, and a bunch of cables tangled up in drawers. I started this place because everyone always needs a quick fix for their mobile or a new screen protector. It gets cramped in here, especially when three or four people are waiting at the counter at once. We handle a lot of different things, from basic recharges to trying to figure out why a phone won't turn on after someone dropped it in the sink. It’s a lot of squinting at tiny screws and hoping the parts arrive on time. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, but our shop stays pretty active with students and families coming in. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait for the system to update, so we just talk about whatever is happening in the news. It’s not a big corporate store with uniforms; usually, I’m just wearing a t-shirt and drinking tea while I work. We’ve been in this spot long enough that we remember when the first smartphones started showing up. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy. Most people just come here because it’s close to home and they know we won’t give them a hard time about a simple repair.
