Goswami Decor Centre

At D-126 in Bhajanpura, you’ll find Goswami Decor Centre. We’ve been sitting here on this street for quite some time now. The shop is full of all sorts of things for the house. It can get a little cramped when new stock arrives and we have to find room for everything. Bhajanpura is a lively place to be. There’s always someone walking past the door. We keep the front open so people can see what’s inside. It’s not a polished showroom like you see in malls. It’s a local spot where we know many of the faces. We keep our own hours, mostly opening up when the sun is well up. D-126 is our base. We spend most of our day here. Sometimes it’s quiet and we just sit and watch the street. Other times, three people come in at once and it gets hectic. We don't use any fancy systems. We just write things down and help people find what they need for their homes. The floor is concrete and the shelves are wooden. It’s simple. We like being in Bhajanpura. It feels like home to us. Goswami Decor Centre is just us doing our daily bit. We don't make a big fuss about things. If you walk by D-126, you'll see us there, probably moving some rolls of material or rearranging a display.
