Genie Events

We’ve been down here in the lower ground floor of Lajpat Nagar for a while now. It’s right near National Park, which is a nice spot to step out to when things get too loud in the office. Genie Events isn’t some big fancy corporation with glass walls and suits. It’s just us, working out of 15, Lower Ground Floor. Most days, the place is a bit of a mess with papers, old decorations, and half-empty cups of chai. Lajpat Nagar is always crowded, so getting here in the morning is usually a struggle with the traffic, but once you’re inside, it’s where we get things done. We handle event stuff—planning, figuring out where things go, talking to vendors on the phone for hours. It’s a lot of coordination. Sometimes the lights flicker or the internet goes slow, but that’s just part of being in this building. We don’t have a big reception area or anyone to open the door for you; you just walk in and someone will probably look up from their computer. People around here know us as the guys who are always moving boxes or checking schedules. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially when a big event is coming up. We just try to stay organized and make sure we don’t forget the small details that usually cause problems later. If you’re looking for us, look for the sign near the park. We’re usually here until late.
