Sadar Bazar is a place where you never really get a moment of silence, and we have been right here in the middle of it at 6105/25 Bari Market for quite some time now. Gems India Product isn't a fancy name, it just tells you what we do, and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. Most days start with opening the shutters and sweeping out the dust that settles overnight from the busy street. It is a bit of a maze getting here if you aren't used to the narrow lanes, but the regulars know the way easily. We have all sorts of items tucked away on the shelves and sometimes even we forget exactly where a specific bead or stone went until we start looking through the boxes. It is just a few of us working here, trying to keep up with the orders that come in. Some people come in looking for specific things for their own small businesses and others just want to see what is new. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. It is just the shop and the stock. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that is usually the highlight when things get too hectic. We just keep our heads down and get the work done, making sure people get what they paid for without any unnecessary talk or big promises. It is a loud, messy, but good life in the market.
