Our shop is at C-150 on the Chandni Chowk Main Road. If you know Delhi, you know how crowded and loud this area can be. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, surrounded by the noise of rickshaws and people shopping. We focus on mobile communication, which mostly means selling phones and helping people fix them. The space is quite tight, but we've managed to fit in everything we need. There are stacks of boxes and a lot of wires around. It’s a busy life being on the main road. We get all kinds of people walking in, from tourists to locals who have lived here for decades. Sometimes it’s a bit overwhelming with the number of people, but we just take it one customer at a time. We don't try to look like those shiny stores in the big malls. This is a real shop for real people. We keep things simple and don't use any fancy talk. Most of our work is just repairing screens or selling small parts that people lose. It’s a tough place to work because of the heat and the crowds, but it’s our home. We are glad to be part of the Chandni Chowk community at C-150. It’s a long day every day, but that is the nature of business in this part of the city. We just close the gate and head home once the sun goes down.
