We are over here at 38-B Subhash Colony in the Phoolbagh area of Kanpur. It’s a pretty busy spot and the traffic outside can get a bit much during the afternoons, but we’ve been here at Exchange4Media Group for a good while now. The office isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we get our work done. Most days, we’re just busy with different media projects and keeping up with what’s happening in the industry. It’s a lot of phone calls and emails, to be honest. Kanpur gets really hot in the summer, so the air conditioning is usually working overtime. We have a small team and everyone just kind of knows what they need to do. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out, but that’s just how things are around here. We handle a lot of different things related to news and media, so there’s always someone coming in or out with a new story or a deadline to meet. Phoolbagh is a decent place to be located because everything is relatively close by. We don’t really do big meetings or anything too formal; we just grab some tea and sit around the desks to figure things out. If you walk past the colony, you might see us or just see the sign outside. It’s just a normal workplace where people are trying to stay on top of the media cycle. We've been here long enough that we're used to the noise.
