Encompass Events

We’re over in Dwarka at B 103, Plot No.5 in the NPSC Housing Society. Being in Sector 2 is nice because it’s a bit quieter than the middle of the city. Encompass Events is basically a group of us who enjoy putting things together. It’s a lot of list-making and calling people to see if they’ve shipped the stuff they promised. We run the business out of a housing society, so it feels more like a home than a cold office. There are always kids playing outside and people walking their dogs. It keeps things grounded. We don't have a fancy boardroom. Usually, we just sit around the kitchen table or the main room and figure out the logistics for the next event. It’s not always easy, especially when a vendor cancels at the last minute, but we’ve gotten used to the stress. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just plan stuff and hope it goes well. Most of the time it does. We’ve been here for a bit now and the neighbors know us. It’s a decent way to live and work. We don't need to be the biggest event company in New Delhi. We’re happy just handling the projects we have and making sure they turn out okay for the people who asked us to help. It’s a lot of hard work, but we wouldn’t have it any other way right now. It feels right being part of a real community.
