EM Kay Tent & Light House

You can find EM Kay Tent & Light House right on the Sagarpur Main Palam Road at RZ-171/7. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy poles and folding up large pieces of fabric. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when there are many functions happening at once. The shop is filled with rolls of cloth and boxes of fairy lights. It gets pretty dusty because of the traffic on Palam Road, but that’s just how it is here. We are usually out on-site more than we are sitting in the office. Putting up tents and making sure the lighting looks okay for someone’s party takes hours of labor. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s mostly a warehouse vibe where we store all the gear. On busy weekends, the phone doesn't stop ringing and we’re constantly loading up the rickshaws or small trucks. It’s a loud, hectic environment but we’ve grown used to the noise of the main road. Sometimes the bulb colors get mixed up in the bins, and we have to spend the morning sorting them out. We aren't a big events company with suits; we are the guys who actually climb the ladders and tie the ropes. Being at RZ-171/7 means we are right in the heart of Sagarpur, so there’s always something going on. We just focus on getting the tents up straight and the lights working for whoever needs them today.
