Elegant

At 1/119 Old Rajinder Nagar, right on Shankar Road, you'll find Elegant. The name might sound a bit more high-end than we actually are. We are just a small shop tucked into a corner of this busy area. Shankar Road is always humming with traffic, and we hear the horns all day long. The space inside is tight. We have to move boxes around just to make room for someone to stand. It’s not a place with a waiting lounge or free coffee. We have a couple of stools and a desk that’s slightly wobbly. Most of our day is spent dealing with whatever walks through the door. It’s a mix of regulars and people who are just passing through the neighborhood. We don’t have a big sign, just a small one that's a bit faded from the sun. The floor is old tiles that have some cracks, but we keep it clean enough. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t really notice the noise anymore. It’s just part of the background. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if there’s a lot of work piled up. There isn’t much to the story other than we are here and we are working. The name Elegant was chosen a long time ago. It's funny how things stay the same while the city around Shankar Road changes so much. We just keep doing what we do at 1/119. If you need us, you just come here.
