We are over in Vijay Nagar, in the Single Storey quarters at G-17. Direct To Home Communication is all about getting the TV signal right for the people living nearby. We spend a lot of our time on rooftops, adjusting those small satellite dishes so the picture doesn't flicker when the wind blows hard. Vijay Nagar is a lively spot, and we've been working in this single-storey area for quite a while now. Our shop is small, mostly filled with set-top boxes, remote controls, and rolls of black cable. We deal with all the main providers and help people pick a pack that fits what they actually watch. It’s honest, everyday work. We know which houses have the best roof access and which ones are tricky to climb. People just drop by G-17 when their TV goes blank or when they need a new remote because the dog chewed the old one. We just get it sorted and move on to the next house in the neighborhood. It’s a simple way to earn a living, and it keeps us busy from morning until late at night.
