Delhi Tent

You can find Delhi Tent over at Shop No 3 in the Main Market of Rajouri Garden J-1. We’ve been sitting in this little shop for years, surrounded by poles, fabrics, and ropes. Setting up for events is what we do, but the shop is where all the planning happens. It’s often a bit messy with fabric samples lying around and notebooks full of dates. Rajouri Garden is always loud and busy, especially on weekends when everyone is out shopping. We like being in the middle of it all. People just drop by to ask about prices or to see if we have a certain color of cloth available. We don’t have a website that does everything for us; we prefer talking to people face to face. It’s more personal that way. Sometimes we are out on a site late at night hammering stakes into the ground, and other times we are just sitting here waiting for the phone to ring. We’ve handled all sorts of gatherings, from small family things to bigger stuff in the neighborhood. The shop at J-1 isn't very big, so we have to be organized with how we stack the chairs and poles. It’s a physical job, and it keeps us on our feet. We don’t really do fancy marketing. Most of our work comes from folks in the Main Market who have known us for a long time. We just try to show up on time and do the job right.
