Connecting World is tucked away in Okhla Main Market Village at number 294. This part of Okhla feels different because the lanes are narrower and there are so many small shops piled on top of each other. It’s a very local atmosphere where everyone seems to know each other’s business. We spend a lot of time just sitting at the front of the shop watching the vegetable vendors and rickshaws go by. The shop stays quite cool in the summer because the buildings are so close together. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a small desk where we handle the paperwork and customers. We don't really do much advertising because the location in the village market naturally brings people in. It gets very loud in the afternoons when the school nearby lets out and kids are running around the streets. We try to keep the shop clean but in this part of town, the dust always finds a way in. It’s a simple life here. We open up, check the stock, talk to the neighbors, and wait for whoever needs help with their connections or phones. There isn't a lot of space to move around but we make it work. Most of our day is spent helping people who live right around the corner. It's been this way for a long time and we are just used to the daily chaos of the village market.
