City Tent Decorators & Caterers

We are over at Shop No 12 in the H Pocket Market of Sarita Vihar. City Tent Decorators & Caterers is a name we’ve used for a long time now. Most of our work happens outside the shop, at parks or community halls, but this little spot in Market 11 is where we keep all the plans and take the bookings. It’s a modest shop with some photos on the walls and plenty of ledgers for keeping track of dates. Dealing with tents and catering means we are always worrying about the weather or if the stoves are working right. It’s a bit stressful sometimes, especially when there are two or three events on the same day. We have a crew that’s been with us for years, and they know how to set up a tent in no time. We don't really have a big fancy office because we’re usually out in the field. When we are at the shop, it’s mostly to talk to neighbors or handle the paperwork. We use simple fabrics and regular food that people actually like to eat. Nothing too over the top. We just want to make sure the chairs are straight and the tea is hot. It’s a decent living and we like being part of the Sarita Vihar community. People know where to find us when they have a function coming up. We try to keep it simple and helpful.
