Chowdhary Communication

I'm at 15 B here in Guru Nanak Market, right in the middle of Lajpat Nagar IV. It’s always loud outside, people walking by, looking for things. Chowdhary Communication has been in this spot for a good while now. I remember when we first started, the market looked different, but the noise stayed the same. Most days, I’m just here behind the counter, dealing with whatever comes through the door. Sometimes it’s a broken screen, or someone can't get their internet to work, or they just need a new cable because the dog chewed the last one. It’s not fancy. There’s a stool that squeaks and a fan that’s seen better days, but it keeps the air moving when it gets really hot in June. We see all sorts of people from around the neighborhood. Some stay for a bit to chat while I’m looking at their phone, others are in a huge rush. That’s just how it goes here. I usually have my tea from the stall around the corner around 4 PM. It’s a lot of sitting and a lot of small parts, fiddling with screws you can barely see. You get used to the dust and the bright lights. Lajpat is a busy place, and 15 B is just our small corner of it where we try to get things sorted for anyone who stops by. We don't do much else besides work on the phones and talk to the regulars. It’s just our daily life.
